Lol I guessed the question about spontaneous reactions, got lucky! But yeah this was really helpful because the time pressure forced me to recall concepts super fast and I haven’t done that for ages. So thanks miniturtle!

There's an equation you don't learn until after VCE (look up Gibbs free energy if interested) that allows you to use information such as the enthalpy to figure out if a reaction is spontaneous, but as you correctly guessed being exothermic or endothermic isn't enough info to tell you on it's own.


Glad it was able to help - looks like psych isn't the only subject you have an affinity for!
