Who here still gets anxious with university exams?

Hey guys,

With uni exams coming up I wonder if you guys have grown out of exam anxiety or still get anxious.

For me my exams start not this week coming up, but the next and from the start of this week I have been really anxious! I suffer from anxiety disorder so I always have an attack every so often but during exam time it flairs up and gets that bad I cannot concentrate on study and that gets me even more uptight.

Yeah that is my number one fear. When I was waiting for my results to come out last semester I was thinking oh s#%t will I have failed anything? I was hoping to get 50% for physics but when I saw 79% I almost fainted.

My exam expectations are 75% for physics 2, 90%+ for linear algebra, hopefully 70% with ESD 2 (no more engineering after this exam - didn't enjoy engineering at all) and hopefully 80% for finance 1.

But I would settle for all passes.

I'm always anxious that there's a question I have noooo idea how to approach in extended response questions.

I don't get all *that* stressed anymore.

Like... not as much as I did compared to year 12.
It's more problematic than anything though... I need a bit of stress to light a fire under me so that I actually have the motivation to study >.>
That bit of stress seems to only kick in a few days before exams these days => cramming ~.~"

Considerably less anxious and stressed

I'm always anxious that there's a question I have noooo idea how to approach in extended response questions.

That has happened in every university exam I have sat apart from calculus 2.

I definately still get anxious before exams - but no where near the level during VCE. In the weeks leading up I'm wary of them, but not totally consumed as was the case in year 12. There's always that nervous rush standing outside the exam room, it's only natural.

As one of my high school teachers said, at uni "P's get degrees!"

I still get anxious, however not as anxious as in Year 12. There is so much more build up in year 12 in comparison to uni!

Well, I get kinda nervous about it weeks before the actual exams :P

When I do the actual exams, if its really really hard I have a mini breakdown and then I go straight to work.

I don't freak out until a minute before the exam. Then I stop freaking out once I sit down. Though I kind of freaked out today when I realised I had no idea what the question was asking. Oh well :P

Yeah, VCE methods was the worst. I remember sitting through exam2 and having 'oh shit oh shit oh fuck oh shit' in my head for 10 minutes.

Now it's only a vague memory of some adventurer trying to escape from crocodiles and lions.

That was like me for the UMAT. First 10 minutes i was FREAKING OUT! I reckon i read the first question about 4 times, still remember it was something about rocks and scratching them and which is the hardest. Not fun!!!!
