Somehow I have managed to overcome exam anxiety. I had a music exam a couple of days ago and was amazed how I got through without feeling nervous before/during/after the exam! Being prepared always helps.

i'm scared of failing ESD2...the exam is gona be a hurdle this year ahhhh! Last year when it wasn't a hurdle requirement, 20% of students failed and if it was a hurdle then 50% of students would've failed....i'm so scared now!! *panic attack* ALL BECAUSE OF PROGRAMMING

I've done way fewer exams/tests in uni than in high school, so I'm not as used to it anymore. I have it in my head that I don't test very well, but in reality, my exam marks aren't really much worse than my essay marks (although, they are consistently worse). So yeah, I get anxious. Not nearly as much as I did in year 12 though.

It's only my second semester and I'm already desensitized to exam anxiety. I think it's a combination of understanding the content better and less pressure/build up.

I get the "I don't care that much I'll just ignore it for now" during any other day but the night before the exam I get the "oh damn I haven't learnt this maybe I should start now"; but generally the "oh whatever I'll wing it" dominates.

Could be more interesting to distinguish between people who were anxious about their VCE exams. I'd say I wasn't. And I'm still not -- but are there people who have reversed?

I get nervous to the point where it has an impact on my health and I feel sick and it takes a while to fully recover (couple of weeks after exams are over). Happened during VCE and still happens, although was probably worse in VCE because I cared more then than I do now.

I am soo not looking forward to ESD 2! I really think I might fail! I have linear algebra on the 17th and really want to ace it. With ESD 2 I'm going to be cramming for. I want to pass ESD 2 to get the points, not because I want to continue engineering.

With finance before the exam I was like "oh my god I'm about to sit an exam!", then in reading time I was like "on the plus side the practice exam was harder."

With physics, since I had already sat an exam so nerves didn't hit me as much, but, because I stuffed up 2 questions I beat myself up for not knowing how to do it during the exam and the other was due to me not studying that and something totally unrelated to the exam. Then before I went to bed I had a massive panic attack and found it hard to sleep.

After my last exam (ESD 2) it may take weeks for the anxiety to drop.

What is mol? Is it mol in chemistry?

If I were you with micro I would have gone nuts. Nice work keeping your cool during micro.

Sighs.
I didn't get much anxiousness during my recent fluid mech exam...I was too relaxed.
My relaxed nature probably contributed to my possible failure in that exam.

It's weird, I get more nervous the more prepared I am. Maybe something to do with "I studied so hard for this what if I let myself down in the exam" etc.

Whereas in my law exams I was just happy to finish every question - wasn't nervous at all because I knew I wasn't going to do well =\

That's definitely how I am with some of my subjects.

I kind of agree with this... I was more nervous for accounting than stats this semester... accounting I crammed really hard for and wanted to do well in... stats is a terribly boring subject that I was happy to simply cruise through with a lower grade.

Irony: chances are my grade for stats will be higher than my grade for accounting.
Stats exam was very easy (and worth 70% of final grade).
I lost easy marks at the end though because I ran out of time... I only needed another few minutes!
It serves me right though I guess... could have gone much worse for me considering I tried to learn the whole course in the two days before the exam.
