Catalase SAC Practical

Hi!

Our school is doing our SAC practical on catalase, and I wanted to do a bit of background research, however everything I look at doesn't give sufficient information. I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide a bit of insight into the amount of catalase in plants and animals (specifically in banana, potato, apple, liver, chicken and beef, but honestly anything will be extremely helpful!)

I particularly wanted to ask: why is it that a plant such as potato contains so much catalase while other plants such as apple don't contain anywhere as much catalase as potato?

Thank you so much in advance
