atm i'm working in the city, which is roughly an hour train ride from home, and i take my laptop with me.
actually it's really useful. Apart from the lack of precise and efficient pointing device, it's practically everything! you can do your readings (ebook), play games, and even write when you can be bothered.

however, the metropolitan train network tend to be a bit "rocky" and you dont get a lot of work done, but still a little work is better than none

v/line i heard should be much smoother during the journey

so yes, definitely (if u can get internet, EVEN BETTER!)

and btw, the more portable the better, you dont wanna carry a 17" 5kg around with you....
