Modern History. Help Please Needed

Hello! So I have this modern history assessment and I'm terrified, I've always done well with my assessments especially with the latest one, but with this I feel like I've lost it and I don't understand it at all

It's a written essay (limit = 1500 words) and we create our own question, mine is 'Evaluate the impact of terror and repression on German and Soviet society'

I'm scared I'm not going enough into repression or that my points don't match the thesis I'm trying to argue or that it's just a huge mess and doesn't make too much sense at all. So please if anyone can, may you please provide feedback on my thesis and first paragraph, maybe even a quick skim of the my other two points to see if they do link to my argument (not urgent though).
