How can I become a 'morning person'?

To start, whether I am a morning person or not really depends on what day it is. (So basically, I'm neither a morning person nor a night owl) One thing is almost guaranteed in my case, though. Just because it's a certain time of day, doesn't automatically mean that I am primed for study or revision. During these holidays, I've been sleeping quite late and waking up an hour before lunchtime. According to the VCAA exam timetable, my exams range from 9:00am to 5:15pm. So, really, I shouldn't be studying after 5:15pm.

But, I do think that getting academic-related business over and done with early in the day is much more beneficial in the long run. But, as I've mentioned, I've spent most of these holidays sleeping in. I don't want to feel dead, waking up at 7am on the first week back, but that may be the case regardless. #year12life

Why did Gem delete the post... AN conspiracy... Haha joking

You can't just become a morning person overnight (sounds stupid I know). Maybe try to sleep an hour earlier and see how it goes. I think you'll prefer not to cut an hour off sleep, so going to bed an hour or two earlier can help ease the headaches.

Note: A consistent sleep pattern will take 66 days to automate/become an unconscious habit (consult a medical professional if required).

Haha sorry. Reread the post and thought I misinterpreted and so deleted my response - I thought JR_StudyEd was wanting to know how to wake up earlier but when I reread it sounded more like they wanted to be more efficient once they woke up.

(In case it’s useful, in my original response I recommended using the app Sleep Cycle because it’s helped me wake up on time without being in a bad mood.)
