We are given that the percentage of scores over 40 is 4%, and that the number of people with scores over 40 is 7, so we know:

But I mean, maybe Squance means that only 7 scores were over 40, not 7 people got a score of 40 or over. That would have to be verified with her but the difference between the number of people you have calculated and what she has said would make it plausible to me that more that one person in the cohort of students got multiple 40's

Somehow I don't really think so lol... so scary! why would your parents pay money and force you to go to a school with such GREAT results??

yeah i wondered that too. i mean you could have gone to a public school and it couldn't really have been much worse, AND it would have cost a lot less. But the focus on % of study scores above 40 is a little misleading. What would be better is median ENTERs, and what would have been even better than that is to have "value-added data" as opposed to simply absolute scores, but unfortunately the Victorian Department of Education is determined to keep that secret from the public.

Oh speaking of poor performing schools... in 2006 about 10 or so of them achieved enters below 30 >.< some were saying that their enter was like 11 or something not sure how accurate that was though lol

A girl in my class got an ENTER around 10, but she kept getting epileptic seizures during her exams. She still ended up at uni (or was it TAFE? I can't remember) under special consideration though.

I think so. One of my teachers said that he knew someone who got 7. I thought they just released "<30", but I guess not...

Doesnt it say <30 if u actually get below 30?

Otherwise, that would be the ultimate humiliation if u were say to get single digits for ur enter.
Some snippets of what goes on in IRC:

<chath> ill say " i wont let you go until u kiss me bitch"

<@enwiabe> i have the BEST orgasms when i'm working through a math problem

<@mark_alec> my bikini line however, is most important

Are you scared yet?

you could calculate your enter if you're given your subject scores

I'm pretty sure if you get an ENTER less than 30 you have to click a link or call up or something to recieve your ENTER just in case you don't want to see how badly you went.
