That is why I had, and what a lot of other people had as well
Wait, 1/6 is the proportion of faulty pegs. I don’t think it was the probability of success. I think 8/41 is the probability of success.

It should be 1/6 because 1/6 and 8/41 represent the same thing.

What do I need to get in Exam 2 for a raw 40 study score?
Sacs 88% in above average cohort of 120
Exam 1 85% (34/40)

First Atar Notes post :)

How strict are the examiners about simplest answer form? Will I lose a mark here?

Question 7b
My final answer was 3 sqrt(12) / 16. it can be simplified to 3 sqrt(3) / 8

Thanks in advance

Wow, I've just checked the solutions, I made so many errors. Does anyone know exam wise, what one would need to get a 25?

Yeah. A similar question in a previous exam report had an answer with +c as a valid response.

The exam booklet only says "exact" values, not simplest exact values. I think that example would be fine.

Welp, really fucked this one up. I forgot to do the last 2 questions and I'm beating myself up over it hard. I think I scored 67.5% - can I still get a raw 40? Or raw 35 at least? (My SAC marks are ~75%)

I don't really go on here anymore. Feel free to DM though

I have no idea about the UCAT percentile required to get an interview/accepted into medicine. Mine was the first year that they used the UCAT. Just try and maximise your ATAR and take care of yourself.

Yes that's fine mate, you'll get the mark. I remember on the examiner's report of a NHT Exam 1 that was allowed.

Does anyone know if this exam was easier or harder than usual? Any ideas as to what the A+ cutoffs will be?

PM me for Methods (raw 46) and Chemistry (raw 48) resources (notes, practice SACs, etc.)

I also offer tutoring for these subjects, units 1-4 :)
