The last question, question 9, on geometry had me for a minute or so - but I ended up circling the wrong answer as there was a few seconds to go and I had left it until last, I circled D, answer is C.

Phew! i circled C because I had no answers chosen as C for the entire module

How did the people who got D work it out?

They tried to explain it with ratios, i think they used similar triangles somehow
