low socioeconomic area - seas

I'm pretty sure i live in a low socioeconomic area cos when I put it into the monash seas calculator my atar jumps up by 9 however am worried I will not be eligible as in the seas application I did not see anywhere to say that you live in a socioeconomic area. If I did miss it, does VTAC somehow still know where I live?

When you filled out your seas application, there would have been a section for personal information including where you live (right near the start). As long as you filled out that section they will figure out that you live in a low SES area from that.

oh right lol, thats a relief was getting worried that I might have missed something crucial in my application. Regarding that actually, how does VTAC and the unis know the address you put on there is real?

I'm not sure but I imagine that it's cross-checked against other information e.g. your school will have a record of your address, the govt will have your address from various things...
