Confused about my study score

Hey guys,
I just got my methods raw study score yesterday as I’m year11.
But I’m kinda confused cuz for GA2 I got A, GA3 A+ but how come I only got B for GA1? According to previous discussion I had with my math teacher, I ranked at the top in my class and he told me I did well in all of my sacs.
So why did this happen? What may be the reasons that lead to this result? Is there any possibility that Vcaa made some mistakes when moderating my sacs?
Thxx

For you to receive a mark for GA1 that is lower than your GA2 or GA3 mark, you can't have been rank 1 for your sacs. This occurs where the exam score that your sac scores scaled to (eg if you're rank 5, the 5th best exam score) is lower than your own exam scores. It's possible that your teacher just wasn't being very specific when they said that you were at the top of your cohort.
If you were actually rank 1 then this shouldn't occur so if you're 100% sure that you were rank 1 in your cohort (maybe check with your teacher if you are unsure) then its possible that vcaa or your school made a mistake.
