I love how clear it is in your post as well that you care about helping others and it's great to see the comment about extra curriculars too. Having that space to not be 100% academically productive is also something that helped me in my year 12.

My course (while obviously not med) also required an interview & one thing I would say is to remember that how you feel after the interview isn't necessarily a reflection of how you went and to also remember that they aren't malicious people wanting you to screw up.

Chapter 13: An Ending
14/01/21

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your congratulations and wishes IThinkIFailed, The Cat In The Hat, eloisegrace, Bri, ashmi, angrybiscuit, Smart Worker, whys, ArtyDreams, homeworkisapotato and Evolio. Your messages meant so much and, for those of you with journals, I’ve loved following them too. You’re all such an inspiration to me! In fact, I just wanted to say a massive thanks to every single person who has read my journal. AN has definitely become a little corner of my life and I appreciate every one who has made it such an awesome community.

So my offer…

I ended up getting an offer into Monash Medicine (ERC) and I’m absolutely blown away. At the start of the year I never would have expected to get an offer and Medicine just seemed like some dream very far away. Especially when I got my UCAT results - the course seemed even further away. Anyway, a special shoutout for whys for her UCAT advice/run down at the start of the year and all those who wished me luck for the interview. Your help and your encouragement made a big difference.

I’m so excited to see where this course takes me and what the future holds. This year will certainly be a new experience for me and I’m looking forward to delving into the course content. If you are in Year 11/12 this year, always feel free to shoot me a PM if you want advice or have questions about general study techniques, etc. I’m always happy to lend a hand if I can (just as so many AN users have helped me).

So that short entry concludes my journal! Again thank you to those who followed my journal (and replied to so many of my posts) and everyone who has been there answering my questions and all. I look forward to seeing where you guys all head in the future and special wishes to the Class of 2021, I know you’ll do amazing.
