Hi everyone,

I am a first-year uni student and am in the midst of planning my course. However, i am not sure whether i am choosing subjects for just first year or all three years?
I chose psych as a major so i suppose that component is for all three years, but with the breadth subjects, do we just choose those for this year?
Like do i just choose level 1 subjects, for the arts foundation and discipline portion, i can only choose level 1.

You only need to enrol for first year right now. You may change your mind later about psych, so you don't need to add it to study plan yet if you don't want to, no biggie.

Once you're enrolled in  asubject, you are able to change it so don't agonise too much over what you put into semester two

Thank you for your help. I think I understand it a bit more. So, would I only then enroll in eight subjects now (4 for both semesters) ? If i do end up liking psych, i pick it next year and enroll in all of its subjects next year?

That's correct. You can plan for upcoming years but you don't need to enrol in those subjects until the year you undertake them.
