no, R is all real numbers so that would be (-infinity, infinity)

That would be (0,infinity) as it only considers positive numbers

As stated above, [0, infinity) is not R, as real numbers includes -ve numbers, thus resulting in (-infinity, infinity)

[0, infinity) would be written as R+U {0} - real positive numbers INCLUDING 0, as 0 is neither +ve or -ve.
