Hey guys I did Specialist last year, should I do Legal next year to boost my study score in Specialist? My SAC average is %
Mao, if u feel that you have a sound knowledge of all the concepts in spesh, you will find legal studies easy as I did. Basically Legal studies is like the 3/4 of spesh and will basically be very similar. If your sac average is 30\pi, you will definitely find legal easy. I suggest for ur text book you should get the "book of childrens names" as it has many useful names that can help you apply different formulae required in legal studies.

At my school, we used, "Quotations from Chairman Mao" instead of your book.
It still had relevant/similar facts and formuale.
I don't think the Spec course has changed much since Friday, so it's still relevant until next Thursday.
And the legal course is still the same, so if you want to do well in Spec, I suggest reading both textbooks^^^
Try to have most of the book completed by first class 2010, so you can impress the teacher by how fluent you are in Chinese.
Hope that helps!
Being fluent in Chinese isnt near as advantageous for spesh as legal studies is. You need legal guys, I cant stress that enuff. Put the hard yards in for legal studies and you will reap the rewards for spesh. Just remember to put the hard yards in before the exams and ull find the hard yards will help you for spesh. I did spesh last year and I found it wasnt anywhere near as relevant to spesh this year as opposed to legal studies which I think shud be the mainstream for the maths course in yr 11.

Hmm. I thought he said, he who murders a man's wife at the dinner table, should not expect dessert.

i have a genuine question haha, how difficult is spesh to do without 1/2 whilst doing methods the same year? how much of study would be required to get like 38-40 raw when averaging B+'s in methods without too much work?

another question, a friend of mine/my curiosity is wondering the same (picking up spesh without 3/4) but already done methods 3/4?

thanksss

Doing 3/4 methods the same year averaging B+ in methods. To get a 38-40 would require a lot of study (say 1-2 hours of dedicated spesh a night).

Your friend having done 3/4 last year, how good is he?
I dono maybe he could suffice with ~1hr a night of spesh.

she did 3/4 in year 10 and got 35, didn't really study much because, understandably, she didn't really understand much about vce then :P
oh, so still 1hr a night? like 7'ish hours a week? :| that sounds like quite a lot haha.
