Each student to be assigned student number until age of 25

Hmmm, don't really know what to think?

Until the age of 25 does seem a bit excessive? But then again it's at this age where everyone is sort of set in concrete of what they will be doing/ where they will end up.

Can't really hurt can it? ( I guess for people who go back and do adult education and things like that maybe..)

Well it's not just for study purposes.  It also helps in terms of On Track - a government program where they try to track down where year 12s end up going/doing after they finish secondary schooling.

I was warned about that from my careers advisor at school.  Do you reckon they actually check for authenticity?  Or can you end up saying this?
