I transposed the equation so that it was x in terms of y then found the area between y = 0 and y = 3 using anti derivatives.

What did people get for the question which asked for what is the probability that for 4 samples....1 or more tennis balls will lie outside the range?

Pretty hard exam, I thought, but there were only 3 marks I left unanswered - the new standard deviation question. WHat did people think of the last multiple choice? I did it like 3 times and kept getting an answer that wasn't there ... what was it supposed to be?

I got D but can't remember the question lol xD

I was tossing up between D and C and picked C D:

When in doubt...pick...C?
Yeah, I guess I won't be using that philosophy anymore.

We didn't have to draw a graph in Exam 1, so i was confident we would have to draw one in Exam 2 but we didnt. Strange.
