So what would it imply if you didn't state that x=0? And are you sure you would lose a mark for not stating it?

Thanks NE. I did draw the graph correctly with open circles when x=0, so maybe the examiners will know what I meant?

What would it imply? It wouldn't imply anything, it just shows you haven't considered all values of x. If I was an examiner I'd definitely take a mark off. But I don't know how examiners mark Methods exams, so I won't know if you lost a mark or not. But technically it is wrong not to state x = 0 is undefined.

Oh TrueTears.

If i screwed up the domain for the first extended response question, by making it R+, what would be your guess for how many marks they take off, assuming the graph is correct from what i worked out the question before. 1 or 2?
2009 --> Methods (CAS), Multimedia
2010 --> English, Physics, Studio Art, Theatre Studies and Music Industries
