But you assumed that the spreadsheet was functional and with data right?

I mean why else would be analysing a information product that doesnt have the fundamental aspects of it (i.e. the income/expenses)
So, i assumed that it was with data in it. and the previous question actually discussed about the SUM Functions, so we can lean more towards a continuation than just a random empty cell - idont know, thats what i did :S

That is very true and I understand your logic.

But didn't the question refer back to the screen shot..? Not to assumed data...

I dunno.. Who cares! It's over! All the best to everyone =]. Good luck for the rest of your exams and enjoy the summer holiday! =D

And a yes to including $ in the vlookup formula.

Does anyone know how long it takes for Mark Kelly to post his answers normally?

About a day or so. It's a shame that there hasn't been a copy of the exam posted so that either myself or Excal could write up some solutions like last year, but Kelly's will be out soon enough.

I admire the discussion going on though. By the sounds of it, it seems like VCAA has put out yet another exam filled with ambiguity.

Haha, I hear you guys. At least there's some comfort in the fact that everyone had the same exam.

And in the end, if we all fuck up the same question, it really becomes obsolete anyway.

Yeha I said macro, but I did think of a chart wizard.

I think in the end I said a macro that AUTOMATES the chart wizard...wow!

to be honest I don't know, but I would say so.

like a print macro: formats and collates the data together
