Sounds like a good teacher you got there majo.

lol he nb :)

@ daniel tennis - i did //Coaches'server/Images... etc

I didn't place the \\coaches server bit and just started at \images because it didn't really specify a server name.  also did forward slashes instead of  backslashes, not sure if that'll make much difference when it comes to marking of the exam :s

yeah i wasnt sure about forward or backslash, i hope it doenst matter

I'm hoping it only matters if you got the path correctly / justified later.

i did: Coaches' Server\Finance\Reports etc or whatever you needed. so i didn't start with anything which was dumb.. should've put \\ but the slashes are meant to be backwards i'm pretty sure

wait just tested and it does the same thing. if you go into your address bar and type C:\Program Files and C:/Program Files it takes u to the same place

yeah i believe that they would only be looking for the correct folder location in general, disreguarding spelling and slashes etc

Not yet mate; wait until tomorrow. I might be able to get a copy off my teacher to scan.

And I also couldn't help noticing you did Solo Music; hats off to you.

I play the Violin mainly (12 years); guitar and piano on the side. Not doing Music though; Violin is so competitive.

What do you play?

According to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/visio/HP010303431033.aspx

Milestones can also be indicated using Filled in circles.
I think that question on the MC was A) Shown as a circle.

Because the other popular answer that it was a point of evaluation is a bit iffy. Evaluating an incomplete solution or information product is unorthodox and relatively useless. I've never come across any document/case-study/or even general talking about solutions being evaluated half-way through its production =S

I hope you'e right..  cause I'm not sure they'll consider the romanian peace corps as a suitable reference =/
maybe Ill call them up and tell them to accept A as a valid answer showing them the MS page xD

god i hope its not A.. I'm sticking with my 'it's a task, just of zero duration' coz i put C down because i knew that a milestone wasn't a circle, but usually a diamond >_>

We're pulling information from other sources (Microsoft).

Never once in the study design have I seen anything to link milestones and circles. We always apply them in the context of a Gantt chart which is how the exam would apply it, so the correct option is most likely C with the most key words i.e. 'zero duration' and 'significant point'.

Alas, the context should have been in the question: Qx: IN THE CONTEXT OF A (insert), WHAT IS A MILESTONE!?

but why would a milestone encourage the evaluation of anything?
By evaluation, I assume they are referring to the traditional 'report' thing that is in the 7-step problem solving methodology.
Gah, stupid VCAA
From memory they said something along the line of evaluate the progress of the project -- i don't think they meant evaluate in the problem solving methodology but more the traditional sense on assess.  Threw me a bit that question too.

Yeah I was just about to mention that: It basically says you "CAN" evaluate the project TO DATE if you want to, not entire PSM evaluation. My Dad's a project manager for a demolishing company and he said that's technically true, but pretty iffy.
