Reading time is sure very important. But how do you guys use it effectively?
Do you just go straight to answering questions to maximise your writing time?
Do you just read every question without thinking of the answers?
Do you read front to back or back to front?

Just wondering!

Just read every question and make sure that you know how to answer it.

But don't you think it's a bit early to be asking? You're approaching the end of year 11, not year 12! Just enjoy the upcoming holidays :)

It's good though.  So now we have a vast collection of Ken's Question Threads that we can refer n00bs to when they ask the same questions.  :D

Once upon a time there was a guy called ken. And he asked anything you could possibly want to ask. So search up his threads :P

Hey ken, don't take other people's comments on you so seriously. Keep the questions going, that's what VN is about. And 'closing' threads isn't going to help anyone :)

It was a joke lol, and in any case how is it a bad thing if we're referring people to your threads. Maybe it's just me but I would feel happy if a comment I made or a thread I began was seen to be useful enough to be linked in the future in response to others' questions. Again: lighten up a bit.

And obviously the reason I posted again was because I feared that your decision to close the thread was due to the joke. It's probably ironic if you read the two posts in succession without considering what happened in between I guess.

This is exactly what I think too. I am not asking for the benefit of myself but for all other people who read it. But someone told me there is not point in asking so many questions because:
1. There is no ideal way of doing things
2. You won't likely improve in that nature

You are correct to some degree with the two points your outlined.  It is true to say that there is no ideal way to solve a maths problem or organising your notes for VCE.  But you have to ask yourself this: Is it ideal to ask questions in a VCE forum that has thrived on a reputation of helpful members that are willing to insightfully answer your problems or concerns?

And also, with point number 2, I think you may have taken it out of context here.  The reason why someone said that you will not "...improve in that nature" is because it was in response to the question you asked about other students' organisation system.  What that poster said was correct.  Everything has an inherent method of organising themselves and their method may not suit other people.  That poster was simply giving you a heads up that you must design and find out your own "system" that is tailored for your needs and if applicable, incorporate other people's idea.
