structures and materials - very easy and good topic
photonics - boring as shit and some annoying questions. ( mostly all theory questions)

Did anyone do Einstein's special relativity?? It looks really interesting.

Yeah I did. It was really easy. I found the Detailed Studies were pretty easy compared to the 'core' content though.

Structures & Materials was good but sound was a piece of...  Then again, I phayled physics so don't take my opinion for law.  :)

"Structures and Materials" for Unit 3

"Sound" for Unit 4

if we dont liek the one the school does, can we learn another one in our own time and do that section on the exam?

Yes, but of course you have to do your SAC's on the ones the school had chosen.

What made it 'a piece of...' ? Was it boring?

That was a factor in it as well.  It was boring and I don't mean this in any offence but if you're a non-music sort of person, you're not going to get on well with harmonics.
