Technically that doesn't quite work.  What if you practice wrong or practice using the wrong technique?  Then you're actually not practicing to be perfect, but more like practicing to be perfect at doing the wrong thing...  If I make any sense.

To be perfect at doing the wrong thing is still a variant of perfect ;)

Ah, I love quotes and proverbs! They seriously challenge you to think and really "rip out" the message <3

Audentes Fortuna Juvat - Fortune Favours the Bold.

Quoted by a BOS member years ago I think... perhaps a VN convert, I don't remember.

Anywayz... to me, it is a reminder that I must first have the courage to try something before I can possibly succeed at it, and that I am usually rewarded for my courage with success... where others hold back and are too afraid, I must be bold enough to step up to the plate.

I hate rejection in all its forms, but this quote reminds me that it is still better to try and fail something than to have never attempted it at all.

"success only involves having to rise one more time than you fall"
"judge a man by the amount of times he rises after he falls, not by the way he falls"
"you miss 100% of the shots you DONT take"
just give it a red hot crack and if you fail, who cares. you died trying
at the end of the day, vce is all about composure and adopting efficient information retention strategies. if your are clinical and collected, vce will be a breeze. its all about applying your knowledge, not just spewing out dot point after dot point of rote learned info. have confidence in your abilities, drink plenty of water in sacs/exams and always carry a good luck charm (i carried a religious icon and a necklace from my grandfather)

"There are no failures. Only learning experiences."

And about drinking water in SACs/exams, I would rather be dehydrated than waste time having to relieve yourself mid-exam. I find that 20 minutes into an exam, I am so focused that I forget about my dehydration. That happened to me on the Method 2 exam, I was sweating so much at the start and I could feel my dehydration, but I didn't even feel it towards the end. Also, dehydration is a more bearable sensation than busting.

LOL well you know, doing more Chem problems leads to thorough understanding, more Maths qs leads to better grasp, etc. That's what I mean. And you can't be using the wrong technique in every question if you do heaps of them and get all of them right etc.
