I got an A+ for both GA1 and GA2 for economics and and A for GA3. However, on my results it says GA1 was a B+ and GA2 was an A. What the hell is this? I got 35 by the way; a really shit score.

Are you assuming A+ because thats the mark the teacher gave you?
They get scaled based on the cohort performance.

Yeah A+ mark that teacher gave? SO you're saying my marks got scaled because of low cohort performance?

This really isn't fair at all. How an A+ SAC grade get scaled to a B+. I mean the SACs were very similar to the exam in terms of difficulty. Gar, this is so rigged.

Depends on how many people in your school got A+ though. If most people are geting A+ and some of those A+'s end up getting B+'s in the exam, then it all makes sense.

There was only one other person who got all A+, but I was ranked first. I doubt this could have made a difference.

Your exam mark could've been a low A. Also, it depends on what range your school uses to define an A+.

Your sac marks are meant to be reflective of your exam performance. considering that you, as the first ranked student, who only received an A it would make sense that the A+ is scaled down to an A or a B+.

But an A+ to a B+? That's been scaled down too much.

Your internal grade means nothing. Only your actual ranking does. You can't compare your internal grade to what it means externally; that's the point of scaling. If you were ranked first or second however, then something's strange.
