Last year I was really annoyed with Legal Studies. A+, A+, A+ and a 39. Funnily enough it has been one of the few subjects where I actually felt really damn good after the exam and thought I could have got 45+. I guess VCE has taught me that you just can't predict SS after an exam. From personal experience, a feeling of doing really well in an exam can result in a SS of 39-50.
This year I suppose methods was my only disappointment (SS=37). I wasn't expecting to get very high but I still think I could have done better (Most of my mistakes being stupid errors such as failing to add or misreading questions). I think if I had controlled exam nerves a bit better, especially during exam 1, I may have been able to hit the 40 mark.
