Hey guys, could someone explain these to me a bit more?

If a certain course has a clearly in ENTER of, for example, 85, and you get 86, are you guaranteed a spot in that course, because you got more then the clearly in ENTER? So for example, say in my preferences i had a course in there, with a Clearly in ENTER of 88, but i got 86, so damn, i miss out on that one. My next preference in line though, has a Clearly in ENTER of 85, so am i guaranteed  a spot in that second preference because i got above the Clearly ENTER?

Just a bit confused :S lol

Cheers guys.

So the situation is:

1.  You have an ENTER of 86
2.  Your preferences in order have the following ENTER: 88, 85.

If the Fringe ENTER for your first preference is around 86, I'd say you'll still have a chance.  However, it all depends which course you want more.  If you really want to get into the course that had a Clearly-In of 88 last year, then leave it as your first preference - DO NOT change it.  You never know what might happen this year.

Nothing is guaranteed. However, failing something out of the ordinary, it is likely that you would get into preference 2 and still stand a chance for preference 1.

That could be the case too.  Not in Round 1, but maybe in round 2.  In any case, you should still accept your Round 1 offer and if you do get your 1 preference in the next round, then by all means, dump your first round offer.
