Arts at Monash

Hi guys,

I got an ENTER of 92 today and was just seeking reassurance that this is a high enough score to get into the Arts at Monash. Based on last year, the Clearly-in ENTER was around 86. Is it possible that the Clearly-in will greatly increase and hence prevent me from getting into the Arts or can I feel confident that I will get in with 92?

Thanks in advance!

I highly doubt the Clearly-in ENTER would go up by 6. You should definitely feel very, very confident. :)

Yeah... it'd have to be an abnormal year for the clearly-in to shoot up 6 points, particularly for Arts

will the enter for arts at caulfield vary much as i got 84.4 and was wondering if i would be likely to get a first round offer as the clearly in was 81

Also this is probably a stupid question but if you do a year of arts can you transfer into a double degree such as arts/law if you have high enough marks.

Probably not steph... again for the same reason I give before.

As for transferring. Yes, you definitely can move into double degrees after studying a year in arts. The marks required is obviously going to be different depending on what double degree you're moving in to, but for BA/LLB,  have a look here: http://www.law.monash.edu.au/undergraduate/entry-monash.html

with an ENTER of 84.4 you should get in if the Clearly in last year was 81. As for a transfer to law, both your ENTER and your university performance will be considered, with 84.4 you will need a HD to be considered.(they may no longer consider your ENTER, but i am not 100% sure on that)
