Both written communcation and Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences went up 2/3 points from last year. The maths one went down one point. And that is all I care about the GAT. Contributed nothing to my ENTER/SS :)

I know, wtf, as if a 39 in written communication translates to a 50 in Classics, this is the most inaccurate test i have ever come across

Lol me and my friend got epic fail marks (I can't remember what they were). The day before I sat the GAT, I heard a VCAA invigilator say how annoying invigilating the GAT is and how useless it is.

I wouldn't loose too much sleep over the GAT.

I got in the top 2% of the state for my written communication aka 45+, and for my English SS it was in the midst off 40's.....lol, its so weird.

BUT, for Social sciences or whatever I got like in the 20's out of 50 I think, but for the humanities subjects I did at school in my VCE I got SS of 40's ....so its wrong in this case (the GAT that is)

Maybe the GAT is the direct opposite of your SS. Its a secret code.

As sad as this is I actually tried studying for the GAT and devising methods of tackling the questions...

I epic failed it last year (I think I got around mid 20s or low 30s or something) so this year should be interesting.

What is up with impossible scaled GAT results?
44/40, 43/35, 43/35...Huh?

Should have skipped my exams.
lol, sorry tpo shatter ur DREAMS! Happened to me too!

The 44 is out of 50
the 43 is out of 50
the 43 is out of 50

The other numbers are out of whatever the maximum marks are for each section e.g. Writing may be out of 40? etc
Well, wahtever your STANDARDISED scores are, are out of 50, but they are still great results.

Oh ok! Still happy with them...even if my study scores were much, much lower.
