this is off topic but what happens if we don't get into any of the preferences? are we doomed?

thats why you devote your last few (2-5) prefernces to crappy Uni's or TAFES, better phrased; Uni's which need lower ENTERS, even if you're 90% sure you won't do them, e.g. I picked a few courses which I genuinely was interested it but had ENTERS of 50-60, and I was 99.95% sure I wouldn't get such a low ENTER

I have engineering UoM above science mainly because I'm not really a fan of going through the bachelor degree and masters. Also some people would rather finish their degree in 4 years instead of 5. This is not to say there is anything wrong with the new gen pathway, it's just something I and some others would prefer not to do
