Woot! my alma mater seventh!!

Hey what you went to SKC?
I go there now :D *pro grin*

Nah it's good to know we topped the APS. Paying a fortune to go to other APS schools doesn't necessarily mean high VCE results + sporting premierships :P

And to be honest I wasn't expecting the class of 09 to be THIS good. Let's hope 2010 is even better.

I wouldn't get too cocky - Skev's had the highest median study scores and such perhaps, but Scotch generally gets the best median ENTER, and MGS generally gets the most 99.95s.  Xavier is also a lot better than you seem to be making it out to be; generally speaking, they get the student who has the highest aggregate in the state (see: last year's two 99.95s).  =)

Not getting cocky mate. Just saying it as it is. The facts are right there in front of us, and whether you decide to believe them or not is up to you.

Vincent its ok man, this should fuel your desire to beat us next year. True? :P
2009:
Math Methods: 35 [41]
Vietnamese: 22 [26]

2010:
Chemistry: 40+
Physics: 45+
Specialist Maths: 40+
English: 45+
Japanese: 30+

Hopefully: 99+
Ambition: Medicine, Pharmacy or Radiography.

Ignore the above. I've failed Year 12 and life. I've had an epiphany... I'm destined to become a gigalo.

Skev's had the highest median study score and percentage over 40.  In terms of percentage of students who get 99+, 95+, 90+, number of 50s, and so on, the school is still behind others in the APS.  The facts are right there in front of us.  =)

</sorry if that came across as harsh, just that I don't think it's fair to say Skev's "topped the APS" based on the fac tthat it won out in one facet>

MGS, Xavier, Scotch and SKC are all fantastic schools so no need to bicker. To each... their own.

Generally.  This year was a bit less than usual for Xavier, although they DID get a student with 47 in Latin and 42 in Methods (presumably a year 11).

His 46 in Methods and 49 in Chemistry wouldn't have even been in his top 6, and the 45 in Japanese and 49 in Chemistry would probably have been bottom 2.  It's crazy!

Skevs is still overpriced though, definitely not worth 10k+ a year. Thank god for full scholarships :)

But yeah, this year was crazy, 19 over 99! In my year there were only... 8 maybe? But we did have a pretty strong bit at the top (as in one person each got 99.9, 99.8, 99.75, 99.7, 99.65, 99.6).
