just got my offer earlier today for enhancement chem at monash:)
hopefully i won't have to decline >< stupid school

They have a maths prereq as well though.

But apparently you can skip that if you did well enough in the Physics NQE....

Don't worry about it to much as long as you received an acknowledgment letter you should rceive an outcome letter in the new year. Remember it's the holiday period so I would expect most would know there outcome by mid Jan. Sutti

about 2 more weeks till UMEP results come out... argh.
btw, to get the 5.5 increment... do I have to obtain > 80% in my total score or do i have to beat 80% of all the students enrolled in the subject?
Also, if all students... r we only against the year 12s or are we also against the uni students doing that subject?

I'm a pretty sure that it is above 80% average in all your assessments. Rankings and stuff like that won't be relevant.

High increment (5.5) means you're above 80th percentile/top 20% of all students enrolled in the subject. So the increment is actually based on rankings and it's against every student including those at uni that does the subject.

It says this on their Enhancement Studies Brochure.

Ok so for UMEP on the site it says to get 5.5, the results achieved are: 'Above 80th percentile (top 20% of all students enrolled in the subject)'. So 80th percentile just means HD?

but for monash it says its based on average grade.

i doubt they would be different, how strange><
