Me to!!

EXACT same wording.

Or some will say:

Quote
This letter is to advise you that you are not likely to receive a scholarship from the listed universities.

All queries about the reason for non-consideration should be directed to the specific institutional website or scholarship contact.

Note that when it says "listed universities", it was all the universities that I did not apply for in my list of preferences.  Since I applied for Monash, Monash was not part of the "listed universities".

My letter said "this letter is to advise you that each institution below retains a strong interest in your application for a scholarship." The listed University was one I didn't even apply for in my preferences... LOLLL!

Really?  Well I applied for Deakin and Monash and both those unis were not in the "listed universities" so I thought they were still interested in me, so to speak.  lol.

Argh, why does VTAC make things to confusing?

LMAO "so I thoguht they were still interested in me"

Sorry, I just lol'd at that >< +1 karma 2morrow okay! Remind me ><

I think Monash etc send their OWN letters, and or when offers come out, whereas the Uni's listed on the letter we recieved aka Vic, RMIT, LaTrobe probably asked VTAC to send these letters because they want more students i.e. u shouldnt keep potential students waiting, whereas Monash etc can afford to?

I dunno stupid guess, but it now doesnt look like I went off topic too much :P

VTAC is just a big tease.

My friend got a similar letter saying that two universities retained an interest in his application for a scholarship, but he didn't get an ENTER even close to the clearly in for any of the courses he applied for (we're talking 20, 30 points off)...any idea what's up with that?

Is he a SEAS applicant?  If so, then that changes things a little bit.  If not, maybe VTAC likes him, perhaps?
