I'm not sure what to make of it, but let me point out that Daniel added Nova to his moderator offers a couple of hours ago... and that Nova has the hyperlinked merspi icon as his sig.

Any global moderator can tell you that he was actually on my provisional list that went up about a week ago (on the mod forum), but I edited it a few times and somehow managed to delete his name along with the other ones who did not make the cut. He actually should have been there first time 'round, as was the original plan. I mean it was a no-brainer given his volume and quality of posts in the boards he was applying to.

Mentioned it (the Prav thing) right under because it was categorised with "enwiabe's paranoia" in my brain.

The claims about edits in the past, see Chemistry board for some edits which had my content, plus a link to Merspi. enwiabe graciously kept the content, but removed the link. Personally I thought some give and take was fair game.

A favourable reply about it was also edited away/removed (something along the lines of "thanks I'll be sure to check it out/ask questions on it!"). Fair game, whatever, but something about editing away particular parts (pick and choose) of a post/thread doesn't resonate well with me.

Like, you can do whatever you want with this website, it's yours, but I'm just stating an opinion about your paranoia.

There are no such thing as links to deleted posts. Ask enwiabe, he probably will not lie about this.

I meant the links to the edited posts.

And what board and/or thread was the deleted post in?

There's certainly a quantity of posts... I can't attest to the quality, given my distance from VCE nowadays.

But Nova's merspi involvement doesn't bother you?

My bad, he didn't remove the favourable post I was talking of! Remembered incorrectly.

There were a few others around that time/date, but I can't remember. I can only remember the handle "Dark Horse", so I looked for his posts.

I was hoping you'd produce that link :)

Collin, would you mind if I produced a screenshot of a PM I sent to you about editing that post?

EDIT: My bad, you didn't reply. I guess I really don't need your permission to post it then. One second whilst I upload it :)

Sure, go ahead. I accepted all your decisions because it is your website. I'm not saying I agree with them.

Another example: you removed a link from the thread "Karma system", which you said was blatant advertising, but it was really a suggestion that VCENotes could adopt the karma system of Merspi - paranoid again, IMO.

I don't understand this? Immature really, and the intention to violate your own code of conduct?

Which part does it violate again?

Hm, I apologise for the poor wording of that rule.

It does not make sense that it should be illegal for anybody to publicise the messages that they wrote to somebody else which garnered no reply. Your trust was not engaged in the correspondence, and so I'm not exactly betraying any private opinions which you shared with me. That rule is supposed to target those who publish private messages sent *to* them.
