Are all subjects cross marked? Because every score range on the grade distributions are twice as many marks as the exam.

It seems wierd that something like Maths would be cross marked when there can only be one answer??
I'm pretty sure subjects like maths, physics, chem etc. are only marked by one person.

All VCE Unit 3&4 Maths exams will be independently marked twice in 2009.

Can someone help here? So anyone who got 158/180 ~87% or higher got an A+? That seems super low.

it was a harder exam and as such more people got a lower score so the A+ cutoff was lowered....

I suppose thats kind of good though that it was harder. Means you dont have to get 98%+ to get a decent score. Its all relative though isnt it..

JOOC what did you get for both exams and SACS? I'd love a 44 next year.

well to get 50 you can only lose about 5 marks across both exams.
my friend got 50 with 175/180 and 180/180 and i'd heard of a few similar.

well for 44, i got just below mid A+ for midyear, and only lost one mark (i think) on the end year. my sac was a midA+ average.

Depends on the subject. For my chem midyear I lost 5 marks with the A+ cutoff at 78%. For the end of year, I lost 1 mark so with 6 marks lost I got a 49

I'd also like to see the 2009 distributions. Even though they probably hold as much relevance as 2007's. Do they vary much year to year?

The 2009 graded distributions will be out soon.  :)  Depending on the subjects, some may vary greatly from year to year.

i'd say a couple of months.

my teacher said the 2008 grade distributions were released about 6 months after the exam.
