I'm also pumped =]

My current feeling will probably be crushed as soon as I receive my first assessment task though.

LOL, how true

CRAPPY!

WOW, whenever I say to my friends "im over holidays" they all look at me like I just uttered the word Voldemort.

My routine is almost the EXACT same as yours, I feel so un productive and bored right now, as though I am wathcing myself age.....

I want to meet new people, I want to start Uni, I want to learn somethign im passionate about, I NEED SUSTENANCE.

 :idiot2:

I know what you mean Nova.  I was ready to go back to school a month ago.  Such a long break between year 11 and 12 is pointless.  All that happens for most is they forget what they spent a whole year learning.

I would be bored out of my brains if I was in your position, but instead I have this nagging feeling telling me to open up my textbooks lol.

Maybe you could go and purchase your Uni texts early and start reading them Nova. :P

I am really pumped for methods, chem and EL (it's something new so it's exciting!).
Physics and English just make me cringe.  I'm hoping they will be in my bottom two.

Also ryan, deakin have the trimester thing where you can do a 3 year degree in 2 years for example.

Chemistry is weird-new (out of nowhere comes shiny, mint-condition chromatography when the chapters preceding it are all 1/2 stuff) and Spesh is just old stuff.

OMG I know, I've read the first 3 chapters of chem book, and it is identical to Year 11. :(  I want to learn new stuff!

I'm to tired to explain, but I've done it before in this thread.  Look at page 5 and 6. :)

My mother actually wanted to go buy my Uni books a few weeks ago, but then she realised I don't actually have a uni placement yet thus unsure of what texts I'll actually need

We are unable to buy them until the first lecture. Because my friend said "the lecturers tell you what books you do and do not need"

Far out it's such a hassle, I need to prepare the money ASAP  by knowing what price I am looking at, how can I be expected to buy books by the "next lecture", I want to do some pre-reading in my free time.

I was hoping to just trust the booklist on the site or whatever.....but I don't want it to be like high school were 1/4 of the books you never touch or use. And at Uni this is more significant because of the higher cost.
