Thanks Costa. I'll file that with all of your other useless posts giving advice in the recycle bin.

There's no need to be so rude to people giving suggestions and constructive criticism.

And the front page does look shit.

Lol. I I just critisized the front page.

What seems to be the problem?
That I don't like it.

Ok I love it. It looks top notch. Better?

I can't exactly suggest a colour scheme because you tend to find the right colour with this kinda stuff just by mucking around and seeing what suits.

... If you could see that everyone else had been saying the exact same thing, instead of just being a dipshit with "it looks shit" - say how I can improve it. Read the title, it says CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. "It looks shit" is just insulting and adds nothing to the discussion.

Don't be so sensitive. As if the background of the main page upsets you that much

No, think more carefully Costargh. Might this be a little rage pent up from your constantly doing this? :) Why, yes, yes it might. Either provide a solution like abcat did (which, incidentally, I implemented and thanked her for), or gtfo.

I don't think the website looks terrible at all, just needs a few cosmetic improvements, and integration of the new logo. The basic design elements are there, and has a great colour scheme. I really think the main issue is just the background image, even the lighter image is just a little too strong; which obscures the text. Not sure how it would look with image removed however

It would look very plain as opposed to very clashy. Do you have any other suggestions, abcat? Your last one improved things a bit.

I agree.

It looks too formal and a bit all over the place. And it's really dark and gloomy. This is a site for teenagers; make it a bit more interesting - more bright and bold. Otherwise you feel like you're back at school again. So some pink (well, maybe another bright colour), or orange or red would make this look more aesthetically pleasing to the eye (if that makes sense).
