He knows what BoS is (he used to be an active member), he's just playing on the idea that it's supposed to be unspoken and forgotten.

a fair few people on here post on both (here and BoS) though...

the VCE forum there sucks majorly, but some of the uni pages are decent.

lol except at the moment this looks like a tacky version (rip off)...needs some work to get up to bos's standards.

i.e admin should take some time to make the site look professional and easy to use and less 'rip off'

is there a way to format the page so we don't need to scroll down 20cm just to see the top of the forum?
i don't know how any of this net stuff works, but perhaps the "latest notes" section could be moved somewhere else if that's what's causing the huge empty space at the top of the screen.
just an idea..

haha i just assumed everyone else had the same problem! so it's just my computer is it?
i installed firefox, and it's still happening. plus, my internet explorer is already on the most recent version. whatever, i'll deal - it was just a suggestion to improve the site but if it only effects me then it doesn't matter.

Yeah. It's because of the "Latest Notes" feature being crammed into the left sidebar. If you have a smaller resolution, then the ads and the logo take up the right-hand side of the page, leaving very little width for "Latest Notes" to appear, which results in a long column. For those who are going to report that they use small resolutions yet this problem doesn't appear: if you have low resolution and ad-block, this problem shouldn't be evident (because the ads no longer take up a wide space).

right click on a blank space in the desktop, and "personalize" (and follow vista), or "properties" and the rightmost tab (for xp)
