I don't like it but I don't hate it either, it's so-so for me.

I like physics the most out of all the science subjects offered in VCE. Unlucky that Chemistry is a biomed prereq...:(
2020 - 2021: Master of Public Health, The University of Sydney
2017 - 2020: Doctor of Medicine, The University of Melbourne
2014 - 2016: Bachelor of Biomedicine, The University of Melbourne
2013 ATAR: 99.95

Currently selling copies of the VCE Chinese Exam Revision Book and UMEP Maths Exam Revision Book, and accepting students for Maths Methods and Specialist Maths Tutoring in 2020!

I can take it or leave it.  Some parts are interesting such as electronics, flight and kinematics.  Light and waves is extreme boredom to me.

IMO Chemistry > Physics, by a long way!

Obviously I like Math more. Though physics was an ok class for being a "part-time applied mathematician" and doing 17th century calculus without feeling guilty. I go to any physics exam hoping that the focus on geometrical/mathematical reasoning outweighs some trivial knowledge about protons etc.

I often find myself reading various physics-related articles on Wikipedia.

Seconded.

That said, VCE physics, while many measures more interesting than VCE chem, is pretty boring relative to the higher levels of the subject.

The problem with VCE physics is that it doesn't test real thought. It's a shame, because physics problems are a lot of fun.

That said, it's a similar case for most VCE studies.
