Life Coach, some of you may remember frozendaiquiri on the VCEnotes, He was a very popular contributor here. I coached him face to face in 2008. I think since he's gone to the UK.
That's me :) (My previous alias was actually 'bubble sunglasses'.)
I've been a client of flusher and have only very good things to say about his services and his integrity. Given the overly flashy tone of the first post, I can quite understand why people here are skeptical (a more understated approach might have had a more favourable effect) , but, from what I can see, he'd be one of the better options to consider for tutelage, (along with XLL Academy and  several other VNers.)

*purrkat* is my girlfriend. Why ask her the questions? I'm the man you want.

I don't mind any body being skeptical, it's natural, millions of ppl are doing it, theres no mystery to it. So here's my warning to all you guys...

If I ask you to buy anything at all, ANYTHING! DO NOT purchase it! Do not give me your credit card number or your parents! Do not pay me. Mind you I don't have anything to sell anyone. But even if I did, DO not buy it. Is that ok with all you guys reading this post?

And seriously, I don't remember selling you anything... I don't even want your money. What's so SCAM about that? To be honest, I don't have anything to sell you.

I don't want anyone to purchase anything for $1497 from me! I never said I was selling anything at $1497. Where did you guys read that? I thought all I wrote was that it is WORTH $1497. By the way, it's not anything anyone can buy anyway, so what's the big deal? Is everyone bored on their holidays?

If the site looks dodgy, then don't go to it. Don't refer ppl to it. AND I repeat, DO not give your credit card details! I do not want it.

I know there isn't much info. Here's more about me.

Some of you may have been to my other website...mathsmethods.blogspot.com

I created this ages ago, some may remember it.

I finished in 2003, went to Mordi High, Did 5 subjects in VCE got 98.50. 48.5 in methods. Tutored over 100 students in methods.
Did a bach of physiotherapy. Finished in 07.

Did a series of public speaking for many schools in front of hundreds of VCE kids in 2008 in terms of motivation and success, includes de la salle, leibler yavneh, westall, yeshiva...

Life Coach, some of you may remember frozendaiquiri on the VCEnotes, He was a very popular contributor here. I coached him face to face in 2008. I think since he's gone to the UK.

what else would you like to know? I wear red boxers and i love my dogs.

honestly, guys, it doesn't take any guts to criticize, any one can do it. Millions of ppl do it every day. All i'm doing with my site is trying to add value to the new yr 12s with a FREE guide.  REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM ME! even if i did have something to sell.

what else would u like to know? have i answered some questions?

How do i know? Easy, I make it, i set the price.
How do you know how much a litre of milk is worth? well, many companies sell milk. it's easy to find out.
How do you know how much my program is worth? No one has done anything simliar, so I set the price.
I have tutored a lot of students who have paid me $50 per hour for 40 school weeks. WIth this site, I intend to provide more than double the value i could in person, and more.

Am I making sense?

Interesting how you mention "selling" milk. Freudian slip?
I'm not sure what a Freudian slip is...

It took me many hours compiling this guide for you, so I was going to charge $67 for it. That's not even half an hour with a Professional Tutor like myself.
I have tutored a lot of students who have paid me $50 per hour

Just as I thought. Willing to lie through your teeth in order to sell something/get what you want.
Huh?
I have had ppl paying me $20 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $25 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $30 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $35 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $40 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $45 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $50 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $60 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $70 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $100 an hour.
I have had ppl paying me $250 an hour.
I have also tutored for free.
Don't other tutors do this?

I'm not sure what a Freudian slip is...

Quote from: wikipedia
A Freudian slip, or parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of some unconscious ('dynamically repressed') wish, conflict, or train of thought.

I've evaluated your "insider report" thus far, and found 10 rather alarming problems with the material to date.

- In one video, you don't write the second midpoint equation for the y co-ordinate, you just say "see it's an average - easy", that's extremely unclear. You also failed to draw the simple geometry which illustrates why the midpoint can be found using those geometries.

- In the same video, you write down the linear distance equation, y = sqrt((y2-y1)^2 + (x2 - x1)^2)) and say "forget that, use pythag(oras) instead"... This is highly confusing thing to say, as that equation IS pythagoras. Instead, you should be showing that a = x2 - x1 and b = y2 - y1, which is a good misconception to clear up. Unfortunately, you only made it more confusing.

- In a 2nd video, you simply say "gradient is rise/run" and start talking about steepness qualitatively, when it's quite simple to show that steepness means for a gradient of a/b, rising a units up for every b units that have run to the right. Again, quite simple, yet knowledge you were either too lazy, or too inexperienced to convey.

- Also in your 2nd video, as kenhung mentioned, you drew a y = -3x graph missing hte origin COMPLETELY. You didn't even draw attention to it and explain that you'd made a mistake, just acted like you'd drawn it correctly

- In one of your first e-mails to students, you unashamedly insult teachers calling them fat, lazy and only in it for the money. Of course, there is a clarification saying "NOT ALL TEACHERS ARE LIKE THIS" but this is pretty cheap of you, and rather immature.

- Not to mention, you seem to have taken the "school" variable from your signup page when you say "I don't know about the teachers at <insert student's school>, but most of them are crap" (paraphrased, cbf reading your bilge again), which means that if at least one person from every single school signs up to your website, then you're working off no knowledge of teachers whatsoever by your own admission. Perhaps you should back up your derisive, insulting claims with examples?

- In another e-mail you send out a copyrighted piece of ENTER Calculator software without actually mentioning the creator, Bryn Humberstone

- That ENTER calculator is from 2006, and has specialist maths still scaling to 55, and many other subjects with stupid scaling that no longer exists. You know about entercalc.syte.cc, yet you still refuse to link to it. I wonder why you'd willingly give students off information?

- You also do this in the 2nd attachment of yours, citing ENTER vs. average study scores off a table you said you made years ago. Do you not know that this table should change on a yearly basis?

- And you're recommending that they learn the gallery of graphs before they do linear graphs? Are you insane? You mention learning how to find x and y intercepts AFTER learning these 11 graphs... It's much easier to learn "find x-int when y = 0" for a linear graph, and then extend that knowledge to the more complicated gallery.

You are either intellectually lazy and disingenuous, or just lack much knowledge in maths, and of how the VCE system works. Either way, I would not waste my time on this newsletter if I were anyone here. In fact, subscribing to this and listening to your advice could well damage your maths methods performance.
