Science -------> Medicine?

Hey, this year I have decided to accept a offer into Monash Science course. I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on the subjects I need to do in the first year in order to try out for post grad medicine at Melbourne University (the) after my undergraduate degree. I am aware that I need to complete subjects in areas of Anatomy, Biochemistry and physiology but I'm still confused about the actual subjects. Thank you in advance.

The prereq. subjects for those three are just the two first year bio units, and the two first year chem units.
If you go into the handbook https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/faces/htdocs/user/search/SimpleSearch.jsp you can find there exact names.

So is it safe if I just fill up the remaining blocks on my time table with junk to fill the breadth requirement?

Yeah you need to use your breadth on something :p. But in first year, do 4/8 of your subjects in bio/chem (two in each) and use the other 4 on whatever you like, and you'll be able to do anatomy, physiology and biochemistry in second year.

Lol Sorry just one more question about electives. Which ones do you recommend. Does it make a difference on how your transcript looks or is it alright as long as you fulfill the requirements. Thanks.
