Are there any presentations in Maths? I can't imagine how, until you start researching stuff.

My AFC1000 oral was funny... I was working with two first years... one was really diligent and had the powerpoint slides and his speech done more than a week in advance. Then there was the other first year and me... lol. I didn't want to write mine that far in advance... I wanted it fresh in my memory. She was just lazy I think. Anywayz, she and I had that poor guy stressing out bad that we wouldn't have our parts ready in time. We finished our speeches about an hour before our tute and practiced it through once in front of each other. We got HD... the highest in the whole class.
Oh God - I'm doing AFC 1000 this semester   :(

I haven't had any in any of my maths classes, though for my Advanced Studies Courses I've usually given a talk (30mins - 1hour) about it at the end.
That's just ANU though, I don't know what it'd be like at other unis.
