I think what Akirus is saying is that you blindly did whatever work you could, you didn't think and ask yourself how you could have made your study more effective and efficient.

stonecold: I also did jackshit in class for the majority of the year. But damn, 1 hour a week? I must have spent at least 5 barring class time. And I treated Methods as the same as my 1/2 subjects. There were times when I didn't work at all on my 3/4 and did 1/2 work instead.

red bull: Lol play on ps3 or watch TV from 12:00 - 1:30.

i think further is a little different to methods kyzoo haha.
if i wanted 45+ even i'd have to do like at least 5 hours of work for methods a week like you did.

i'm jealous of you peoples that are able to do study routines, i didn't do any work for psych during the weeks, only the weekends 'cramming' before a sac (i actually did a one-night before study for one before i realised what studying even was and did terrible...), and then did heaps of practice exams before the exams.

the good thing about year 11 doing a 3/4, is you can easily learn from your mistakes and apply then next year like i will be doing :) !

I don't have study routines. I just sit down and get what I need to get done, done.

yeah, i was really lucky.  our teacher didn't set much work and was really good at explaining the concepts.
also because i did methods, it fully overlapped with nearly two of the further modules, 'graphs and relations' and 'matrices'  meaning i didn't really have to learn much.  i also learnt 'number patterns' in year 10, so i didn't even do one question from the textbook for that module, just did practice exam questions.

obviously other subjects will take more effort than what i put in last year, but i think this really demonstrates why it is important that you take subjects where some of the content overlaps, because it really is quite useful and reduces your workload.

also agree, just get what needs to be done, done :)
