examiners - some join text selection commitees
- they have many many VATE notes
- they are familiar with who the head is, eg, Glenis/Ross
- they hate long essays
- as exam approaches they are often reading textbooks (most of them are like "haiz, i am so busy nowadays")
- mm what else
- most examiners are either retired teachers(old) or teach at good private schools. (so you can trace who they are)
- they have cash + good families (mostly, as far as i can tell)
- and some of them mark SACs for schools. so often you can see big envelopes on their desk containing SACs by students

after all, the easiest pathway of identifying a tutor is simply ask for proof if you are really desperate, provided that you don't mind being disliked by your tutor and have your class quality affected due to your disrespectful request. mind you, examiners are generally older than you, and not all of them accept students - be respectful.

but to be honest, you could tell from their teaching quality, why all the trouble?
