Just in terms of motivation. The content is boring at the moment. Im liking my other subs better and I prefer to study those. I always knew that my problem would be maintaining interest through the boring bits. Just gotta make sure it doesnt turn into a bludge subject.

Haha true, all you need is the right level of self-efficacy, and you'll be able to get through it ;)

Quick question; when would a General Practitioner use a Green Script? I was thinking when the patient has hypertension, overweight, diabetes etc.

I looked at last years grade distribution. A+ cut-off was 178/240. 89/120. Youre able to drop 31 marks and still (practically) get an SS of 38+. It seems too good to be true. How would the break down go between scores like 41-43 44-47 48+? 10/120 marks dropped for a 45? Seems completely do-able. Theres so much room for error that I could probably manage an A+ if I started learning the subject a couple of months prior to the exam. :\

Have a look at this.
She sad it was an 'exceptionally' hard exam, but still 88% for 50+premiers award is amazing. Assuming that the PE exam in 2007 was /120 that is a loss of 14.5 marks!

It is indeed. In 2007 84/120 was required for an A+.... 70%. By comparison, the 2008 exam A+ cutoff was 89/120, 74.2%.
A raise of 5% at the lower end of A+ range probably indicates an approximately equal hike in the higher end of the distribution. So I'd say 95%(114/120) could yield 50? I could be very, very wrong, but this makes sense to me.

yeah probably 90%~93% could definitely give one 47+ range, sounds about right i would think.
thats one reason i am scared of p.e., because the content is so easy so i dont know why the exams are apparently so difficult. i went through last years exam and it seemed quite simple :P
i may end up failing though so i shouldn't speak yet!

Its so weird. If im killing practice exams early october then I should be set for a good score. :)

I think that 100% is a reasonable expectation despite the difficulty of the previous exams. Its only year 12 physical education after-all. Everything on the exam we should know. We should have comprehensive knowledge of the course by that time. I see how the A+ cut-off may not be that high but I dont see why that top 2% struggle to get closer to 100% in the exam.

50's all round for the VN crew. :D

Really? I've heard the content is easy, so I assumed the exam questions must be either extremely ambiguous, or extremely hard.

visionz- yay! go for 50! go, go, go !

m@tty- i read through it and the stuff was all quite basic, but as i said i don't know really because i haven't done the course, i'll make proper judgements once i attempt a practice exam in the future.

correct. content itself is relatively easy, but to make up for that the marking can be a little weird. i got 49 (in year 11, 2008) and have no idea why lol. content-wise it's straight forward, but dont fall into the trap of doing nothing for it.
