At Catholic schools, it tends to be Religion and Society or Texts and Traditions. This is mainly because religion is compulsory as a subject up until year 11 for all Catholic schools. Therefore some schools make it compulsory to do the 3/4 subject. Otherwise IT was a rather popular 3/4 subject for year 11s. My software development classes consisted of about 5 year 12s and 20 year 11s
Religion and Society (38), IT - Software Development (45) English (35), Chemistry (49), Methods CAS (48), Specialist Maths (50)
ENTER: 99.15

2010 - Bachelor of Science(Maths)/Engineering(Chemical) - Monash Clayton

Ditto, we were basically forced to do RE, had 4 classes of ~25 doing it in year 11 heh. Our SD class only had 5 kids though 2 year 12s and 3 year 11s heh

I find that Revs seems to be a popular choice for year 11ers.
