Food at Union house

Since the new year of uni is coming up, I would like to comment on the union house food.

Bad places (According to me):

- I went to the sandwhich shop and got a chicken sandwhich with raw chicken in it. mmm a potential source of E.Coli 0157:H7.

- I had a friend who got food poisoning from the curry shop adjacent from the burger shop. It was a lot of fun sitting near someone in a lecture who looked like they were about to yack up something.

Good Places (According to me):

- The pizza shop makes great pizza and I have had no problems there (so far)

- The bar on the second floor makes great parmajanas, but a meal will be over $10 if you get a drink.

- The cafe in the spot makes the 'best' coffees.

Anyway can anyone add to this list so we know the great places and the bad places.

The onigiri at that sushi shop is pretty good (and cheap)

Pronto Pizza make good pizzas. The Uni Catch place also makes pretty decent fish n chips and chicken schnitzels.

Yeah their pizzas are great. The uni catch is the shop that sells burgers and calamari (well technically it's arrow head squid since I have caught and eaten my own calamari)?

But I want to know if there are any other great shops I haven't checked.

Nah, Pronto is outside on the corner, facing the eastern part of union house.

I heard that noodles place is pretty good (Saigon Noodles?).  It's the one with the really long queues during lunch.

I heard that noodles place is pretty good (Saigon Noodles?).  It's the one with the really long queues during lunch.

Yeah that place is amazing, I like the 'Cooked beef noodle', but sometimes they change the beef so it's all chunky/fatty and not as nice.
