How do you study and why?

Im not too sure if this question has been asked before but i want to find out as many ways there are of studying...

I mean why do you use this method of study.

As in what techniques of study do u use and why do you use these methods.
Eg Palm Cards etc

Still too vague =/

Could you please specify like "how do you prepare for a test?," "how do you learn concepts from the textbook?," "how do you ensure you learn the notes taken in class?," etc.

Depends for which subjects.
For legal i read alot but for subjects like math and accounting i have to do the work, practise makes perfect in these subjects.

Tests and SACs I don't really prepare for. Today I had a Spesh test on Complex Numbers, I had no idea it was on and so I never prepared for it. Really, if you ensure that you learn things well the first time you come across them, there's little need to prepare specifically for the test/SAC as your consistent learning process is preparation enough.

And with the textbook, I just continually ask myself "How do I remember this?"

So wait... Last year in Methods you didnt prepare for SACs? but obviously still ended up doing ridiculously well.?

Technically yes, but the way you phrase that is misleading. I didn't prepare for SACs because there was nothing I really could do to prepare, I already learned all the required theory, as well as complete the associated textbook questions, well before the actual SAC.

Furthermore SACs aren't that important for Methods. I was nowhere close to being top-rank for my Methods cohort: I would have gotten 94-96/100 for the RAW SAC score.

Wait so what did you get for your RAW SAC score? What you said above, or was that what you would have got? I'm interested :) You got such a good score!
