Performance Enhancing Drugs for VCE

Not steroids ..

Do people use vitamin supplements such as Centrum to help increase their performance at school/uni? What do people think of the idea? Is it going just a little bit too far?

But then again, people use protein shakes and other supplements to help bulk up and increase fitness, why not use the same concept for our brains?

i would sometimes take vitamin c just to help my immune system and so i dont end up sick for half of my vce

but it was all so much bs, didnt do anything

i know its soooo old-fashioned, but just get enough sleep, eat well, excercise every now and then most importantly put in the study time and you should be fine

Definitely remember to exercise :) Nothing like a solid run the night before an exam to calm nerves and get some good sleep

I read that coffee (or caffeine in general) ruins your quality of sleep and some cycles associated with efficiency (Eg. you get a short boost from caffeine then become really tired after a few hours).

Hhahahaha in amaerica we have kids popping Ritalin like candy for performances enhancement, and here we aussies are debating the ethicality of centrum and fishoil. haha these arnt really drugs, rather they are supplements. And yes you should be taking things like vitamin E, omega 3, centrum and the like. They are beneficial to your health

There are people at uni who take ritalin/dexies/other ADHD drugs to help concentrate when studying.
