Thoughts on SACS...

unfortunately i haven't had the best of starts to the VCE calender year. I am currently ranked last in economics, bottom two in methods, bottom in physics, third in accounting, twentieth in english. My question is: having only done poorly on 1 SAC, does this prevent me from getting 40+ for all my subjects?

I doubt it , you wont get 100% because when you average it out it just wont work that way.

They take all your SAC marks for the *entire year* for the SAC component of your study score so i wouldnt worry.

Just for example say you have 5 SACS and you do really bad in one and get like 40% but lift your game in the rest:
40%+78%+85%+88%+92% = 76.6%

Obviously the more SACs the subjects have, the more chances you have to get a better average.

Also the better you do in each SAC from now on also means a better average down the track.

So not all hope is lost.

(Also note SACs for some subjects arent a huge component of your study score and exams make up heaps)

Too difficult to say although i suggest you do better on all other sacs

Yeah your only a sac or two in.. its not totally lost you can still get a pretty decent mark if you try hard.

I feel your pain. I'm in a similar boat (just different subjects). Obvious, but you've just gotta try a lot harder for your next sacs.
